This Apprenticeship is designed to provide a vocational pathway into the execution and managing of Customer service.
It’s particularly useful for those who already work, or aspire to work, in a Customer service setting. Designed to provide a greater understanding of customer service roles and the environment in which customer service managers operate, this apprenticeship will provides the skills to; communicate effectively with customers, resolve problems, improve customer relations and gather and analyse customer feedback.
As an Apprentice in Customer Services, you can expect to be employed for 30 hours a week in a setting that will typically give you the opportunity to provide services to customers. You will need to have a clear and up-to-date knowledge of your organisation’s products and services, and be able to communicate with all sorts of people.
You will need a passion for ensuring that customers are dealt with in a positive, reliable and pleasant way, as well as the desire to work hard to achieve.
As a Level 3 Apprentice, you will be expected to take you skills to the next level by managing customer service trainees/agents, helping them to provide appropriate advice, answer questions, and deal with complaints.
Many Customer Service Apprentices are engaged in budgeting, planning projects, and coordinating teams, in various sectors, such as retail, financial services, call centres, hospitality and sport and recreation.
On top of the 30 hours of work, you will need to spend a minimum of 6 hours on your studies. This will ensure that you keep up to date with everything, and provide the evidence required to achieve the Apprenticeship.
All learning and assessment resources are provided on The Sports Brain, and will be supported by an on-site professional mentor, who will be able to give you advice and guidance on completing your work as well as future career prospects.
You will also be assigned an assessor, who will visit you in the workplace to assess your progress.
