Mount Snowdon Climb for Prostate Cancer UK

Six of VLUK’s Northampton Town students will be climbing Mount Snowdon on Sunday 29th April 2019 in order to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.  The students thought outside the box when tasked with ‘organising an event’ as part of their BTEC course and have set themselves a huge task on Sunday. Northampton Town Football Club support Prostate Cancer UK so the six students decided they would support this magnificent charity.

Prostate Cancer UK hopes to stop prostate cancer being a killer. One man dies from prostate cancer every in the hour in the UK and deaths from prostate cancer are set to soar over the next decade. By finding better tests, better treatments, better prevention and better support we aim to dramatically reduce the number of men dying from prostate cancer.
