Job Title: Marketing & Communications Officer

Location: Bury (Greater Manchester)

Salary: Salary circa £18 - 28k depending on experience. 

Type: Full time, term time only (plus 4 weeks) Permanent

UCS and The Football Learning Group are looking to appoint a highly motivated individual to oversee communications and marketing on both a local level (TFLG) for Further Education (FE) and Higher Education (HE) activities, and a national/international level (UCS) for HE.

UCS is the HE arm of Virtual Learning UK, which  is one of the largest training providers in the UK, working with a wide range of Education Institutions, professional industry and sports clubs. We deliver industry leading education to young people from 16-24 years of age, throughout the UK. 

We offer further industry leading products, such as The Sports Brain™, a bespoke learning platform to support teaching and learning, through our sister organisation, Virtual Education Systems. 

Do you have a creative flair and an eye for detail? Are you an excellent communicator who enjoys building relationships with others? Do you have exceptional organisational skills? Do you have an understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms?

If so we are seeking a Marketing & Communications Officer to develop and produce high quality, creative and innovative high-impact marketing campaigns to aid recruitment across all areas.

On a local level this will include activities across The Football Learning Group in association with VLUK and UCS. Then on a national and international level you will be working with and supporting partner clubs working with UCS. These include partners across England and Scotland, the USA and Dubai. With further countries expected to be added to our portfolio. 

The successful candidate will need an understanding of educational products and the ability to work independently but also as part of a remote national team network.
