Entry Requirements

To be considered for this course, as a minimum you will need 4 GCSE’s, or equivalent at 4/C grade and above. Preferably this will include English and Maths, although pathways are available to those that just miss out on a 4/C Grade in these core subjects. Learners will be required to attend an academic interview prior to being offered a place.

The curriculum

Learners will take 4 units in total, including 3 compulsory units:

  • Exploring business
  • Developing a marketing campaign
  • Personal & Business finance (exam)

They will also take 1 optional unit, choosing from:

  • Recruitment and selection
  • Investigating customer service
  • Creative product promotion
  • Pitching for a new business
  • Training and development

How will the course be delivered?

The course will be delivered through direct, synchronous teaching from industry specialist tutors - online 4 hours a week. Alongside this will be workshops and talks from specialist external specialists from industry.

How is it graded?

It is graded as Distinction* (=A* at A-Level), Distinction (=A at A-Level), Merit (=C at A-Level) and Pass (=E at A-Level).
