Employability

Posted on

VLUK Stagedoor Learning campus Year 13 learners have been focusing on employability this week, with workshops from two industry professionals. The first was with director and dramaturg Rachael Walsh, who spent the day working on contemporary monologues and audition technique. Following that, they have had three days with actor Jack James Ryan (Coronation Street, Passenger) focusing on screen acting, self-tapes and professional development. Tutor, Jenny Cameron, commented "It’s been incredible to be able to spend so much time learning from such amazing professionals, and sets the learners up brilliantly for applying for drama school and university". Learners at our Stagedoor Learning campus are continually offered these amazing opportunities to support them to reach their full potential in the industry they love.
