Jamie Moore

Learners at our Joe Gallagher Boxing campus were recently visited by guest speaker Jamie Moore. Jamie is an ex-professional boxer, now professional coach from Salford.

As a boxer, Jamie won the Irish, British, Commonwealth and European titles, having 37 bouts between 1999 and 2010. As a professional coach he currently trains world champions Jack Catterall and Chantel Cammeron along with many more talented prospects. In 2018 he was named coach of the year by the British Boxing Board.

Jamie was kind enough to give up his time talking to the learners about his life and experience as a boxer and coach, what it takes to win, what mindset you need within the sport and what makes a good boxer.

All our learners thoroughly enjoyed having Jamie at the campus and have benefitted from hearing about his career and ideas on how to improve.
