Cheltenham students in the community

Posted on

Some of the second year students at the VLUK Stagedoor Cheltenham Campus were involved in a high profile local event last weekend. The Pittville Pump Room, which is a grand Regency building in Cheltenham, launched a new Heritage Trail telling the story of the Pump Room and Cheltenham Spa. The event included the launch of a new audio tour, which featured voice recordings by a number of current and former students, as well as strolling characters, played by our students, from significant points in history, including the Regency era, when the Pump Room was first opened, and the 1940s, when the Pump Room was used as a billet for American GIs.
It was great for our students to be involved in such a fun event, which was also attended by guests including the Mayor of Cheltenham and local MP.
