Who Dares Wins

Year 1 learners from VLUK Joe Gallagher Campus were lucky enough to be invited to attend a seminar run by Ollie Ollerton (SAS Who Dares Wins) to discuss how to become a leader and deal with decision making while under pressure.  This is the second year that the campus has been invited along due to the links that Manchester Metropolitan have with the campus. The learners gained an understanding of how the SAS execute operations within a pressured situation, identifying the Plan, Brief, Execution and Debrief. Along with this they gained an insight into how leadership works within a team, having leaders at different points of the execution. The learners gained an understanding of how to control their nerves and breathing within these situations as well as gaining knowledge of positive affirmations and how to manifest positive outcomes within their day to day life.
