Women in STEM

Tutors at our performing arts campuses are sometimes asked if doing a full time Performing Arts 6th form course can limit choices going forward, if the learner decides ultimately that they don't want to pursue a career on stage or in front of the camera. This year's second years are certainly proving that's not true. With 10 university offers between the two of them, Bethany Allan Molland and Julia Zaniewska will be using the fantastic transferable skills they've been developing whilst at our Stagedoor Cheltenham campus as they go on to study STEM subjects at impressive universities. Julia will be taking up her offer to study for a BSc in Criminology at the University of Derby, whilst Bethany will be taking a BEng in Film Production and Broadcast Engineering at the University of Surrey.
