Full time learners at Radcliffe FC (Aged 16-18 years) will combine their education with training under the guidance of our UEFA qualified coaching team, representing Radcliffe FC in both league and cup fixtures. This includes being available for selection for the prestigious FA Youth Cup.
The Academy will have both 1st and 2nd year squads and the pathway internally for the most talented individuals is ultimately the first team at Radcliffe FC, which can include a stepping stone via the Radcliffe FC Under 21s as part of the internal pathway. However we also believe in safeguarding and maximising both the Academic and Footballing journey of EVERY learner even if that journey does not result in achieving the internal pathways.
It is the responsibility of our UEFA coaching team to support and guide every young person under its tutelage with the best opportunities for them based on specific KPIs such as playing position, ability, mentality, different club requirements and so on. This will ensure that talented players get opportunities at the best club for them linking in with The Football Learning Group network both locally and Internationally as well as the strategic partnerships and loans system of the Football Club.
