StudioPointe

VLUK StudioPointe is a campus that includes a high number of contact hours, taught solely by extremely experienced, industry professional teachers, performers, international choreographers and directors. Many of the classes are individually tailored to the learner, making a nurturing and very supportive environment to enhance personal development. We feel this is important to guide the learners in the right direction for their next stage in the industry.

There will be many experiences to perform on the course, working in a professional rehearsal environment and stage, alongside very vigorous technical training throughout all genres which is essential to move on to the next stage of their training.

At StudioPointe, we are industry experienced, teaching in many different vocational schools all over the country. This means we have the knowledge and connections to help the learners audition for higher level training, after this course is completed. We also offer teacher training examinations with the International Dance Teachers Association. Classes during the year include classical ballet, jazz tech, contemporary, tap, musical theatre, commercial, singing, acting, choreography, fitness and body conditioning, limbering, acrobatics, industry workshops, physical theatre, audition preparation, tutorial (National Curriculum), academic lessons (history, anatomy, journalling, BTEC Coursework) and teacher training - IDTA. Timetables will change throughout the year to accommodate the BTEC curriculum, projects,
performances and exams.
